General Manager - Lianne Meiklejohn
Lianne is a customer orientated leader who uses broad experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Sales and Customer Service, to get on with it and deliver results. Lianne holds diplomas in Business Administration, Procurement, International Marketing and loves challenge and adventure whether it be boogie boarding, cycle trips, or travel.
Manager Sales and Marketing - Stan Clark
Stan has a long history within the Steel industry with over 20 years of experience at Bluescope Steel between New Zealand Steel, Bluescope Australia, and 4 years at Pacific Steel. As Manager Sales and Marketing Stan adds his own brand of charisma, character, and sales skills into the business with a proven track record of customer satisfaction. Outside of work Stan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, on the football pitch, or out on his boat trying to catch the snapper before Karen gets there.
Manager Operations - Stewart Crichton
Stewart joined the Pacific Steel Team in Dec 2015 as Operations Manager. He has worked in the steel business since 1989, in various operational and technical roles in the Ironmaking, Steelmaking, Casting, Metal Coating and Paint Line operations at the Glenbrook site. The safe operation of the Pacific Steel site is a key focus, along with efficiently delivering excellence in customer service.
Manager Human Resources - Richard Parr
Coming across from 12 years at New Zealand Steel Richard is well versed in all things HR. Also being a Registered Psychologist he enjoys finding out what makes people tick and be their very best. Richard brings with him an element of fun and laughter whilst maintaining his professionalism and approach ability at all times. Outside of the HR world Richard might be found over at Vector Arena attending an 80’s rock-concert as a self-professed mueso at heart.
Business Development Manager - Karen Foley
With over 10 years in the industry at Pacific Steel Karen is well liked and respected by customers and staff alike. Karen is instrumental in ensuring out customer first strategy is upheld no matter what. Outside of work Karen would be found scouring the Hauraki Gulf on her boat 'Sea View' in pursuit of snapper or diving for shellfish.
Market Development & Key Account Manager - Laura Coffey
After 4 years at New Zealand Steel Laura joined our team in August 2017 bringing with her a wealth of marketing and communications knowledge. Laura holds Bachelor's Degrees in Commerce (Marketing) and Arts (Sociology) and is working hard to grow both the WIREMARK® and SEISMIC® brands whilst managing a number of Key Accounts across the country.
Technology Manager - Michael Palmer
Fresh from 6 years of experience making iron and steel at New Zealand Steel, Michael is responsible for managing product properties and adjusting products to better suit customer needs. He also has involvement in ACRS certification and quality monitoring. When not at work you’ll find Michael on his Waikato blueberry farm or trying to find time to play football.
